Family Dentistry for Cedar Knolls Patients

Cavities are common in childhood, but they are also preventable. The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention reports that dental sealants prevent 80% of cavities in the teeth they cover, which is one reason we talk with parents about sealants during checkups.

Our preventive dentistry visits include a thorough exam and a professional cleaning for every age, and our pediatric dentistry team helps younger patients feel comfortable in the chair.Dentist at Morris Plains Center for Dentistry reviewing digital dental images on a computer

Gentle Dental Care for Kids and Teens Near Cedar Knolls

A first dental visit sets the tone for years of care. We keep appointments calm and friendly, explain what we are doing in plain language, and give parents time to ask questions along the way.

As children grow, their teeth and bites change. A comprehensive orthodontic evaluation can show whether braces or aligners may help, and teens can also ask about Invisalign and SimplyClear options.

Restorative Dentistry and Implants for Cedar Knolls Adults

Adults often put off repairs until a tooth hurts. We can talk through dental crowns and dental bridges that restore chewing strength and blend with your natural smile.

For missing teeth, a single-tooth dental implant replaces the root and supports a natural-looking crown, while All-on-X dental implants may help patients who are missing many teeth.

New patients of every age are welcome, and parents can ask about scheduling visits for more than one family member. You can schedule online or contact our office to get started, and our team will help you find a time that works around school and work.

At the first visit, Dr. Bagley examines teeth and gums, explains what he finds, and talks through next steps. Children are encouraged to ask questions too, which helps them feel comfortable and involved in their own care. This relaxed start can make later visits easier.
